We have opportunities to mitigate climate change through our operations and product offerings. That’s why we are assessing the physical risk of climate events across our supply chain, documenting tools and actionable items connected to climate-related events, and solidifying emergency protocols during extreme weather events.

We have invested in multiple projects and processes to reduce emissions and energy use. We have retrofitted several facilities with energy-efficient LED lighting; we are evaluating the use of solar panels to further reduce our environmental footprint; and we are evaluating opportunities to source renewable energy in deregulated markets.

Our commitment to sustainability involves creating and implementing programs to manage our waste responsibly. We operate a hazardous waste management and recycling program to divert as much waste as possible from landfills. We have single stream recycling at many of our facilities and are expanding that program to our entire branch network. Additionally, we are evaluating battery recycling programs for our facilities to service our internal customers and community needs.
